Welcome to the home of Sooner Bassmasters!

Started in the winter of 2008 as Sooner Bass Club, we wanted to build a club that was about you the angler.  After two successful seasons, the club was revived as Sooner Bassmasters.  We are a now B.A.S.S. Federation Nation affiliated club. Our goals are to invest in the future of bass fishing by providing a club atmosphere that is family oriented, budget conscious and fun. We will strive to provide lower club and tournament dues while still maintaining competitive payouts as well as minimizing travel expenses by fishing single day tournaments within a 90 minute drive of Oklahoma City. By maintaining the draw for partner format we allow anglers without a boat to participate in competitive bass fishing. This format also allows for a learning environment where anglers learn from each other as well as getting to know other members.

More importantly, we are dedicated to promoting family oriented activities and family participation at tournaments. Part of this will be conducting and participating in youth events.

Sooner Bassmasters is also a member of the Oklahoma Bass Federation Nation (OBFN). The OBFN is the governing body over all BASS Federation Nation activities in the state of Oklahoma and functions as a dynamic and effective link with individual chapters and other federations embracing the principles and purposes of the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society. As part of the OBFN, members have the chance to fish in state sponsored events and compete for an entry into the Bassmaster Classic, the most prestigious event in competitive bass fishing.  Click here for more information on the OBFN.
